    Errol Gluck’s Gluck Solutions: SEO Case Study on Hypnosis NYC Moved to First Page in 6 Steps

    Just a brief review of how we finally got a competitive term, “hypnosis NYC” for Gluck Solutions.  It  really was just the usual SEO tactics, but YouTube video additions really helped.

    1. It started with editing the website’s text to include the term “hypnosis NYC” in the beginning and end of the page or pages.
    2. Since I couldnt rename the URL of the page, I then created a bunch of blog posts with that term, as well as to many micro blog sites such as Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
    3. As I mentioned, there was a good boost, as expected, from video’s optimized for YouTube–that pushed it from the second page to the first page.
    4. Article writing focused on hypnosis NYC and publishing to a bunch of sites helped.
    5. Industry specific sites and blogs moved the term up.
    6. Lastly, the addition of local search, such as Google Places, was a big help as well.

    Glad we got movement on that!
