Pinterest Changes Terms of Service
If you’ve not signed up, especially if you are a contemporary fine art photographer eyeing with trepidation, perhaps you have less reasons to avoid Pinterest. According to a recent email, some changes are as follows:
- Original Terms stated that by posting content to Pinterest you grant Pinterest the right for to sell your content. Selling content was never their intention and it was removed this from their updated Terms.
- They updated their Acceptable Use Policy and will not allow pins that explicitly encourage self-harm or self-abuse.
- They released simpler tools for anyone to report alleged copyright or trademark infringements.
- Finally, they added language that will pave the way for new features such as a Pinterest API and Private Pinboards.
