Social Media Component for the Selling of 'Act of Valor', and How a Targeted Marketing Campaign Led to a Big Opening Weekend
I came across this interesting article posting on the Hollywood Reporter site, that discusses and dissects the way the film the “Act of Valor” was promoted. Especially interesting to me was the social media approach and integration with the other marketing components, and the way it was aimed toward gamers, the military (naturally) and conservative radio and others.
I think there will continue to be more of this integration of media.
